and to this I say

Thank You!

I want to thank four lovely ladies who have bestowed upon me
their kind words and an award to pass along to another fellow blogger.

If I could, I would wrap up this bouquet and send it to all my
special blogging friends.

I feel so lucky to have chatted with so many lovely
women and men thru the blogosphere.
They support you, listen to you, sympathise with you, agree with you,
disagree with you, laugh with you and sometimes cry with you...
They can brighten the bluest day.
I can't thank them enough for the times they have lifted me up...
without their even knowing it.
That is the power of these special friendships.

Tish says that 'living a beautfiful life is about style, elegance,
discipline, simplicity and generosity'.
I could not agree with her more and I find that ever time I visit her blog. She is funny, sassy and a very clever lady. In the past week I have had a glimpse of her friendship with Edith, the other half of the dynamic duo who entertain us with their 'playing dress-up' series. Tish has a love for all things french including french men and on this front I must say she has very good taste. You never know what you will get when you visit Tish which it makes it all the more enjoyable!

Rita @ A REFOCUSED LIFE
Rita is very special to me as this is the second award she has bestowed upon me. She has a wonderful eye for the beautiful things in life. Her exquisite taste leaves us with one glorious photo after another and looking forward to more. Thru her I have created the most beautiful home in my mind.
I have a few more rooms to go and look forward to what she will be posting next.

Holly @ HOLLY GOES LIGHTLY

I love Holly's home photo, the lovely brick home with the big wreath at the door and snow gracing her doorstep. Every time I see this image it makes me smile. Another woman with great taste, she loves all things bright and beautiful. This week I have discovered the most delcious looking chocolate cupcakes, a gorgeous Tess glass end table, her nomination for the most glamorous looking women and men at the Academy Awards (and on this I have to agree with all).

Annie loves fashion and does a wonderful job at putting together an outfit a day for all of us to enjoy.
She has great taste and manages to find the fun things and tells us how we can get them. A fun white dress from Ruche with the perfect little belt from Banana Republic, to the Frye Rider pull on boots with my favourite, the Foilage Unfolding bag from Anthropologie. The things I could put in that bag!
