My French Country Brocante in England

One of the things I love about blogging is meeting wonderful people.
It is like opening a series of doors...each one, as equally beautiful as the other.
I will forever more equate the image above to Sharon of My French Country Home.

Sharon and I started blogging around the same time...we have been writing
back and forth for some time about family, life and blogging. It has been a joy
getting to know her over the past year via emails and post comments.

I had the delightful pleasure of meeting Sharon and her charming daughter Ella
yesterday. There was no question in my mind when I saw the graceful woman across
the grounds that I had found Sharon. When she looked up and said my name
it was magic! Sharon is every inch the beautiful, warm and gracious woman
that you imagine from her blog. It speaks volumes for Ella as well as she
truly is her mother's daughter.

If you have not met these lovely ladies yet, I encourage you to do so.
They are both talented women with beautiful blogs.
You can meet Sharon, here and Ella, here.

Could I have picked a better time and place to meet Sharon
for the first time? I think not!  Sharon brought along items from her fabulous
Brocante shop, here, and set them up, with flair, on the grounds
of the Finchcocks Musical Museum in Kent, England.

When she mentioned it might be to far for me to travel from my home,
I thought...Oh contraire...that is half the fun of it! We made it a family affair.
Mr. H, Miss Claire, young Connor and I set off for a day in the country.
I was secretly pleased to show them that, in fact, my blogging friends
are not imaginary but genuinely wonderful people. They could not
agree more. They were just as charmed by Sharon and Ella as I was.
No surprises there :)

Sharon could not have picked a more beautiful setting
to showcase her wares. Finchcocks Musical Museum
is a charming Georgian manor housing over 100 historical
keyboard instruments. The manor is surrounded by beautiful
gardens and parkland. A perfect venue for a Spring Garden Fair.

From the front door to the back...it was just beautiful.
Music was in the air...

Flowers were on show in every corner, from
market stalls to the extensive gardens along the property.

There were little surprises around every corner....

It was a day for the memory books. We were thrilled to have met
Sharon and Ella, visited Finchcocks and journey on to another
spectacular spot, Scotney Castle...more on that another time.

Today it is all about Sharon and Ella. Please stop by and say hello
for me and tell them Jeanne sent you.   :)
