Google Buys Mobile Music Service PushLife For $25 Million

Google has acquired mobile entertainment publisher PushLife for a reported $25 million, according to Startup North.
Founded in 2008, Canada-based PushLife operates a mobile music streaming service that lets users sync songs stored on their computers with their smartphones.
The PushLife team will be joining Google's engineering team in Canada, according to a note on the company's website.
Google is expected to launch a digital music offering some time in the near future, and reportedly has already been testing the service internally among employees.
