i have some old pictures of st johns ; i will post them when available to do so ; but on either side of the alter hang two white banners with bands on top ; decorated with symbols ; they are in black and white ; there is also two 6 point jew stars set at either side ; the banners similar to postings attached to the family name history ; liken unto two red ones with gold lions on them ; 4 geese passed over head as i sat out front of st johns today ; headed upstream in direction ; in perfect formation ; a close nit 4 ; wing tips almost touching ; as the service started at the armories ; i could hear the cannon go off i beleive ;
at one time the pews set facing the center row to the alter (they still do but thats were the choir sits) ; the alter bore a 6 point star with two swords and a crown it seems to indicate ; if my eyes are correct ; i need to examine them in depth yet ;
